Neuromuscular Research

The neuromuscular disease research group specialises in research that explores the mechanisms underlying neuromuscular disease and developing treatment strategies.

Our research focuses on a variety of neurological disorders including chemotherapy induced neurotoxicity, peripheral neuropathy and inherited muscle disorders.

Collectively our research aims to facilitate translation of basic science research into clinically applicable findings that improve patient management through new assessment tools and treatment strategies.
