Scholarships

UNSW assists postgraduate researchers by providing a wide range of scholarships. These scholarships range from annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs, to travel scholarships and supplements. Scholarships are available to support current and new postgraduate research candidates at UNSW.


  • Beth Yarrow Memorial Scholarship

The Beth Yarrow Memorial Award in Medical Science will be awarded to a student of excellent research potential, enabling them to undertake a Masters by Research or PhD in the field of ovarian cancer with UNSW Sydney. It is hoped the recipient will contribute to the understanding, early detection, treatment and cure of ovarian cancer. 

 

The Scholarship is valued at $20,000 for one year. Previous recipients of the Beth Yarrow Memorial Award in Medical Science are eligible to re-apply.

  • UNSW Conference Funding

The Postgraduate Research Student Support Scheme (PRSS) is available for candidates undertaking postgraduate research programs at UNSW. This provides financial assistance in presenting research at international conferences outside of Australia.
