Scholarships

UNSW assists postgraduate researchers by providing a wide range of scholarships. These scholarships range from annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs, to travel scholarships and supplements. Scholarships are available to support current and new postgraduate research candidates at UNSW.

The purpose of the Gift is to support one international PhD student working in the field of neonatal research in the School of Women’s & Children’s Health. Funds may be used as a stipend for living expenses for a period of 3.5 years.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be enrolled or have an offer to enrol as an International Higher Degree Research student in the School

• The student will commence studying in 2017

• The scholarship is available for to full-time students
 

Amount

The total scholarship over 3.5 years will be $97,456.
 

Selection

Criteria Each applicant will be assessed on the basis of academic merit.

This scholarship is to encourage higher degree research students to undertake research in various areas of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.


The Oocyte Biology Research group investigates the molecular regulation of oocyte development, oocyte-somatic cell communication, and the determinants of oocyte developmental competence...


This 3 year scholarship is open to both domestic and international PhD candidates. It would ideally be suited to a sonographer with experience in Women's Imaging, or a Medical Practitioner with an interest in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and preferably some experience in diagnostic ultrasound.


  • UNSW Travel Scholarships

Various travel scholarships are available for candidates undertaking postgraduate research programs at UNSW. Travel scholarships provide financial assistance in presenting research at international conferences outside of Australia.
