UNSW assists postgraduate researchers by providing a wide range of scholarships. These scholarships range from annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs, to travel scholarships and supplements. Scholarships are available to support current and new postgraduate research candidates at UNSW.

The UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarship Scheme is a cornerstone of the UNSW 2025 Strategy, and aims to attract new PhD scholars of exceptional quality to undertake projects in strategic research areas.

This scholarship is to encourage higher degree research students to undertake research in various areas of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

This 3 year scholarship is open to both domestic and international PhD candidates. It would ideally be suited to a sonographer with experience in Women's Imaging, or a Medical Practitioner with an interest in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and preferably some experience in diagnostic ultrasound.

  • UNSW Travel Scholarships

Various travel scholarships are available for candidates undertaking postgraduate research programs at UNSW. Travel scholarships provide financial assistance in presenting research at international conferences outside of Australia.
